The Red Barn Diner in Manchester

Food was perfect. Hot and fresh, came out quickly (not as important to me for this particular trip, but still a good thing), and flavor was amazing. Only gave 4 stars because the inside was too small and cramped. I recognize the desire for smaller places to maintain their size as part of the charm but this place pushes that to an extreme, they have additional seating in the back but the waitress didn't inform my family of 6 of that, and there was no way we would be able to push 2 tables together in the small dining area, so we had to split our party. But other than that, server was friendly and inviting once seated, she coordinated our food to all come out together even though we were not sitting together, and the food was fresh, hot and delish so I forgive them for the small dining room :) but can only give 4 stars

I'd call myself a reg here and the food is amazing, I especially love their steak sub, always cooked perfectly!! Only reason I didnt give it the 5 star was because the seating is tight as it's a small building, maybe down the road rebuild into something newer have a GoFundMe campaign? I'm sure the locals would love to see this place grow

Great food and friendly staff

Stopped there today for afternoon Sunday breakfast. Nice that they serve breakfast all day. Got a fried egg sandwich and homefries... both delish! Big potatoes wedges, lightly seasoned. Hubby and son both got a western omelet which was good. Waitress was very friendly. Seating was a bit tight though. Price was great! Under $40 for family of 4.

I love a good breakfast at a diner! For my first time here I ordered the Yankee Breakfast with a cup of decaf coffee. Coffee was delivered quickly and hot. Next up was my first taste of the Red Barn. I must say, and I may be alone on this, the bacon was cooked to be a little chewy, just the way I like it! I hate crispy bacon. The best part of this breakfast was you get a piece of pie with it!!!!! It shouldn't be called Yankee Breakfast, but Abbi's Breakfast! I got the blueberry crumble, warm with whipped cream. De-lish! And the piece was huge! Great experience overall, I will be coming back!

Everything was okay, but they could really use some seasoning. The backroom was small and rather uncomfortable.

The wait staff were extremely friendly from when we entered to when we left. However, the seating arrangements were cramped and oddly thought out (we got trapped at our table because we were right next to a weight supporting column 🤪). Food took a little long, but when it came out, it was worth it! It tasted fresh, and delicious! And my coffee was fresh every time it was poured! Also, the waitress serving the spanish-speaking people behind us tried her hardest to understand their order, and did not pressure them to speak english! I would say if you’re looking for a cute little diner with a small party of 1-2 people, and don’t have trouble fitting into small spaces, this is an excellent place to stop!

Excellent diner option downtown with all you can eat Wednesday night spaghetti, solid egg options for breakfast, and fast, friendly service. Great value for prices.

Small quaint diner. Home cooking. Feels like family. Huge portions, real fries not frozen. Love the corn chowder (not canned) homemade desserts. Good prices.

Great food ....choice of pasta and sauce on all pasta dishes ... Professionally served with a courteous staff all ready and willing to make a perfect dining experience.. Veal Marsala on angel hair was absolutely incredible most tender Veal I have ever had . The marsala sauce was delicious..

When I lived in manchester the food couldn't be beat but now yuk sorry my opinion

Adorable little diner off the beaten path. Restaurant has an antique style, its a bit smaller and if you're tall you'll want to watch your head! Staff treats you like family, and service was so fast. I watched the wait staff greet several people by name in the short time we were there. Food was excellent, large portions for small money. And free coffee with breakfast! Get in here if you like dinner fare.

Good Resturant for an inexpensive meal.

Food was good, nice friendly neighborhood dining atmosphere. Sausages were very good. Would have given higher marks, but prices were a bit high and no real choices other than a couple of muffins for pastry choices.

Not great for tall people as they have super low ceilings. The food was, meh. I had eggs Bennies which the eggs were over-cooked. Potatoes were sub-par. Service was slow as molasses. Oh and top everything else, flying nats or bugs hung overhead ...flying around while we tried to eat. How unfortunate. I haven't been here since I was in college in early 2000's, I probably won't be back either.

Food was decent for the price, just a little over $5 for a decent sized portion of breakfast food. Though I do wish the servers who were preparing toast would wash their hands when handling food for the customers.(after touching plates, cups, etc)

This red barn SERVES Break Fast!! Faster than a hot potato on hot plate! Red Barn and postmates team at it again and can't wait to make that phone call to postmate my order and that's only if the barn is RED!

Been a long time since I have been here.different name,in general ok, home fries more of a style for dinner plate that is my opinion, toast served late 3 Sunnyside eggs need toast with meal.dont mean to be critical but little things count.all in all a good place will return, have hash browns.

The people there; both patrons and employee made the place. The diner is what a diner should be, quaint, cozy and filled with locals complaining about politics and the price of food at the local grocery store. The coffee was on the weak side and the Egg Benedict was a bit under cooked.. but not bad. I'll go again.

Food came out quick however was cold. Homie appeal. Very loud. We were off in What was the seating in the back. Definitely a place to go when the night life his closing hours. The server was pleasant..

So this guy at my work keeps going on and on about how great this place is. I told him I was gonna write a review on Google on his behalf, that's how long he's been going on and on about how good this place is. I ask him what his favorite item on the menu is and he says all good it's all great. He won't shut up. He still keeps going on and on.

only been here once but my experience was exactly what I was looking for. to go out to a small little diner looking place and get a classic breakfast plate. This place is perfect for that purpose. The staff were friendly, they were timely, and the food was exactly what i was craving.Good spot
